AIM’s Distribution & Digital Day in April was a huge success, so, it¹s back by popular demand! On September 28th we will hold the second Distribution and Digital Day of 2005, and this time it will be bigger and better than before!

The AIM Distribution Day is the key event in the calendar for companies evaluating their digital strategy, and seeking distribution for physical and digital music. Trade fairs like MIDEM have an international focus, but AIM has found a need for UK based companies to meet in a forum that allows them to focus on building their domestic business.

AIM Distribution day is a mini-trade fair environment, focussed on digital distribution and physical distribution deals. Take in the mini-presentations from the key players in the sector, to get an overview of the partnership opportunities available, and book 1-2-1 appointments with the distributors/retailers to discuss your individual business requirements.

AIM members can:
Meet the key organisations in the physical and digital distribution business.
Find distributors
Meet the online distributors
Meet the AIM digital team
Develop their online strategy

This time the day will feature presentations from 24 digital and distribution companies, and a total of more than 40 companies will be available for meetings throughout the day.

So far, we can confirm that presentations will be given by 7 Digital, Absolute Marketing and Distribution, Consolidated Independent, DA Recordings, DJ in the Mix (Blazing Stations), eMusic, Finetunes, Freshdigital, IMD Fastrax, iTunes, Karma Download, Music Choice, MusicNet, Napster, OD2, REDMuze, Rightsrouter, Snocap, state51, TuneTribe, Uploader and Vital:PIAS Digital. All of these companies will also be available for meetings, as will 4Real Digital, AIM Digital, Futureproof Records, HMV Digital, Origgio, RSK Entertainment, Sony Connect, The Orchard and Yahoo!. We will reveal more participants as the date approaches.

The event is free to AIM members, for members of MMF & MPA we offer a discounted rate of £35 (inc vat) and non-members are welcome at a cost of £50 (inc vat) per person.
